Perkebunan Nusantara IX atau disingkat FSPBUN IX TT, melalui surat resmi yang ditandatangani oleh Ketua umum dan Sekretaris Umum Nomor : FSPBUN.IX.TT/HM.20/EXT/013/2022 tanggal 31 Maret 2022 perihal Aksi Hubungan Industral dengan tegas menyatakan menolak pendirian kampus Polimarin di areal PTPN IX Kebun Ngobo Ungaran, kamis (31/03/2022)
Surat yang ditujukan kepada Direktur PTPN IX dengan tindasan antara lain kepada Presiden RI, Mendikbudristek, Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Kapolda Jawa Tengah, Bupati Semarang, Kapolres Semarang dan beberapa pejabat lainnya tersebut merupakan tindaklanjut dari aspirasi yang telah disampaikan sebelumnya namun tidak ditanggapi secara serius oleh para pemangku kepentingan.
Sebagaimana diungkapkan Ketua Umum FSPBUN IX TT, Antonius Susmono, S.H bahwa proses pembangunan kampus baru Polimarin sudah dilakukan sejak tahun 2017 namun tidak segera diselesaikan oleh Polimarin sehingga semua perizinan telah habis masa berlakunya. Namun pada tahun 2021 pihak Polimarin kembali mengurus proses pembelian areal PTPN IX Kebun Ngobo seluas 30,80 Ha tanpa melalui proses awal.
Sebelum ada Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) yang mengambil alih seluruh areal PTPN IX Kebun Siluwok kami bisa mentolelir pembangunan kampus polimarin di Kebun Ngobo Ungaran, namun setelah ada kawasan KITB kami menyarankan agar kampus polimarin dibangun di areal Kebun Siluwok. Saran ini tidak disetujui oleh Polimarin dan tetap berusaha mendapatkan areal di Kebun Ngobo Ungaran, jelas Antonius Susmono.
Dikarenakan pembicaraan secara diplomatis tidak tercapai dan saat rapat bersama Kamis, 31 Maret 2022 keputusannya adalah Polimarin akan tetap meneruskan proses yang sudah berlangsung, maka satu satunya jalan yang diambil oleh FSPBUN IX TT adalah menggunakan kekuatan massa dalam bentuk unjuk rasa bahkan mogok kerja, imbuh M. Fajri selaku Sekum FSPBUN IX TT.
Anggota kami sudah banyak yang kehilangan pekerjaan dan sustainability Perusahaan terancam atas hilangnya aset seperti yang sudah terjadi di Kebun Siluwok Batang dengan adanya KITB seluas 3.100 Ha, di Kebun Kawung Cilacap seluas 60 Ha untuk areal pengganti Badan Otorita Borobudur, jalan tol dan lain lain, maka otomatis kami selaku wakil karyawan wajib memperjuangkan aspirasi dari anggota, imbuh Totok Indarto selaku Bendahara Umum FSPBUN IX TT.
Terpisah Direktur PTPN IX yang diwakili oleh SEVP Operation saat dikonfirmasi media atas adanya rencana aksi dari FSPBUN IX TT menyampaikan bahwa aksi Hubungan Industrial berupa unjuk rasa dan/atau mogok kerja adalah hak pekerja yang dilindungi undang-undang, namun Manajemen berharap aksi dapat berjalan dengan tertib dan jauh dari perbuatan anarchis. Manajemen PTPN IX sudah berusaha menyampaikan aspirasi FSPBUN IX TT kepada pihak- pihak yang terkait, namun hasilnya belum sesuai harapan kawan-kawan FSPBUN IX TT. Harapan Manajemen PTPN IX ada solusi terbaik dari pemangku kepentingan sehingga aksi FSPBUN IX TT tersebut tidak terjadi apalagi kalau sampai mogok kerja karena jelas sangat merugikan PTPN IX, jelas Dr. Budiyono, S.H., M.H selaku SEVP Operation PTPN IX.
