Purbalingga – Satreskrim Polres Purbalingga berhasil mengungkap kasus pencurian kendaraan bermotor (Curanmor) yang terjadi di wilayah Kecamatan Mrebet. Dua pelaku berhasil diamankan berikut barang buktinya.
Wakapolres Purbalingga Kompol Donni Krestanto dalam keterangannya, Jumat (14/7/2023) menyampaikan bahwa Satreskrim Polres Purbalingga berhasil mengungkap kasus pencurian dengan pemberatan yang terjadi di Desa Karangnangka, Kecamatan Mrebet, Kabupaten Purbalingga.
Dua pelaku yang diamankan yaitu NS (27) warga Desa Guci, Kecamatan Bumijawa, Kabupaten Tegal dan FA (22) warga Desa Suniarsih, Kecamatan Bojong, Kabupaten Tegal.
“Modus yang dilakukan yaitu tersangka mengambil sepeda motor yang kuncinya masih menggantung kemudian membawanya kabur,” jelas Wakapolres didampingi Plt Kasihumas Iptu Imam Saefudin dan Kanit 3 Satreskrim Iptu Arisno.
Korban bernama Junianto (37) warga Desa Karangnangka mengetahui sepeda motornya hilang dari istrinya. Pada hari Minggu (18/6/2023) sekira pukul 11.45 WIB, istrinya tidak mendapati sepeda motor yang diparkir di halaman depan rumah sudah tidak ada.
“Korban sempat melakukan pencarian di jalan sekitar rumah namun tidak ditemukan. Sehingga kemudian melaporkan kejadian ke polisi,” jelasnya.
Berdasarkan laporan korban, kemudian Satreskrim Polres Purbalingga melakukan penyelidikan. Hasilnya dalam waktu 2 x 24 jam pelaku berhasil diamankan berikut barang buktinya. Sepeda motor hasil curian masih disimpan di salah satu rumah pelaku.
Barang bukti yang diamankan yaitu satu sepeda motor hasil curian jenis Kawasaki Ninja warna hijau tanpa plat nomor, satu sepeda motor Honda Beat warna merah yang digunakan pelaku untuk mencari sasaran, kunci sepeda motor dan surat kendaraan.
“Dari dua tersangka yang diamankan salah satunya merupakan residivis kasus curanmor. Ia pernah dihukum karena melakukan pencurian sepeda motor di Kabupaten Tegal,” ungkapnya.
Wakapolres menambahkan kepada tersangka dikenakan Pasal 363 Ayat (1) Ke-4 KUHP tentang Pencurian dengan Pemberatan. Ancaman hukuman berupa pidana penjara selama-lamanya tujuh tahun.
