Jakarta -Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) menegaskan pihaknya akan bergerak cepat menangani kerusuhan pertandingan sepak bola antara Arema Malang melawan Persebaya Surabaya di Stadion Kanjuruhan, Malang, Jaaa Timur.
Kepala Divisi Humas Polri Irjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo mengatakan, sesuai dengan arahan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi), hari ini Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Listyo Sigit Prabowo dan Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora), Zainudin Amali akan berangkat ke Malang hari ini.
“Sesuai dengan perintah bapak Presiden hari ini Kapolri dan Menpora akan berangkat ke Malang,” kata Dedi, Minggu, (2/10/2022).
Lebih lanjut, Dedi menuturkan Kapolri telah berangkatkan tim DVI yang langsung menuju ke Malang kemudian mengerahkan seluruh tim dokter dari RS Bhayangkara Malang, RS Bhayangkara Kediri dan RS Bhayangkara Surabaya guna mempercepat proses identifikasi korban dan memberikan pelayanan kesehatan ke korban luka.
Dedi menuturkan, fokus Polri saat ini ada dua yaitu kerjasama dengan tim medis setempat dalam rangka memberikan pelayanan medis yang terbaik, supaya jumlah korban tidak bertambah.
“Yang kedua dengan jumlah korban yang begitu banyak tim DVI bekerja keras untuk segera identifikasi korban meninggal dunia dengan cepat agar korban dapat dikembalikan kepada keluarga masing-masing,” katanya.
Ia pun meminta rekan-rekan media bersabar menunggu perkembangan lanjutan baik dari sisi investigasi maupun penanganan korban.
“Hari ini Kapolri akan melaksanakan rapat dengan Menpora dan pemerintah daerah setempat dan hasilnya akan dievaluasi terlebih dahulu tentunya akan disampaikan ke rekan-rekan media,” katanya.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, pertandingan Arema FC vs Persebaya Surabaya dalam pekan ke-11 Liga 1 2022/2023 berakhir dengan tragedi. Suporter dan polisi menjadi korban kericuhan yang terjadi di Stadion Kanjuruhan, Malang pada Sabtu malam WIB 1 Oktober 2022.
