Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Pol Karyoto menyampaikan tersangka RB ditangkap pada 1 Juli 2023, sekitar pukul 05.50 WIB, di Ruko Akbar Motor Jl. Raya Cinangka RT. 005 RW. 004, Kel. Serua, Kec. Bojongsari, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat.
“Tersangka RB kurir sabu 36 kilogram dengan modus disamarkan dalam 32 bungkus kemasan Kopi Import merk dari Amerika dan 2 bungkus the China,” ujar Karyoto di Polda Metro Jaya, Senin (17/7/2023).
Lanjut Karyoto, modus peredaran narkoba yang disamarkan dalam bungkus kopi yang di import dari Amerika Serikat baru pertama kali.
“Barang bukti ada 32 bungkus kopi hitam merk BlueBeard berisi sabu 34 kg dari Amerika Serikat, dan 2 bungkus Teh China Guan Qyiang berisi sabu 2 kg,” katanya.
Lanjut Karyoto, itu ada juga barang bukti 1 unit mobil Honda Jazz warna hitam nomor plat B 14 – – KVI berikut STNK.
Kronologis kejadian berawal pada bulan Juni 2023, Unit 2 Subdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya mendapatkan informasi dari masyrakat tentang adanya dugan penyalahgunan dan peredaran narkoba jenis sabu yang dilakukan oleh seseorang bernama RB alias Robi yang biasa melakukan transaksi narkoba di daerah Pamulang/Depok.
Selanjutnya Tim yang dipimpin Kasubdit 3 Ditresnarkoba Polda Metro Jaya dan Tim Opsnal Unit 2 Subdit 3 melakukan penyelidikan secara intensif dengan cara mengolah data informasi masyarakat dan petunjuk atau alamat saudara RB.
Kemudian Tim melaksanakan Surveillance terhadap target. Pada 1 Juli 2023, dini hari Tim melakukan penyelidikan dan pengamatan terhadap target RB yang saat itu berada di sekitar Ruko Akbar Motor Jl. Raya Cinangka RT. 005 RW. 004 Kel. Serua Kec. Bojongsari Kota Depok Jawa Barat dengan menggunakan mobil Honda Jazz warna hitam no plat B 14 – – KVI seorang diri.
Dalam pengamatan tersebut Tim melihat target RB seperti menunggu atau akan melakukan transaksi dengan seseorang. Sekitar pukul 05.50 WIB, atas dasar kecurigaan tersebut Tim melakukan penggeledahan dan penangkapan terhadap saudara RB dalam penggeledahan mobil Honda Jazz yang dikendarai RB ditemukan barang bukti sebanyak 29 bungkus Kopi Merk BLUEBEARD (merk dari Amerika) berisi narkotika jenis sabu.
Tim menginterogerasi tersangka dan mengatakan bahwa ada 5 bungkus lagi narkotika jenis sabu berada di sekitar 50 meter dari target berhenti.
