Kupang – “Kami berkomitmen untuk menyadarkan generasi muda tentang pentingnya menanggulangi intoleransi, radikalisme, dan terorisme demi menjaga kedamaian dan persatuan bangsa,” kata Iptu Danial Agripa Tefnai, SH, Kaur Subdit Bintibsos Ditbinmas Polda Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), saat mengawali sosialisasi di SMP Negeri 13 Kupang, Kamis (31/8/2023).
Dalam upaya terus-menerus mendekatkan diri kepada masyarakat, Anggota Subdit Bintibsos Ditbinmas Polda NTT telah melaksanakan sosialisasi di berbagai institusi pendidikan, dan kali ini, SMP Negeri 13 Kupang menjadi sasaran. Dalam kegiatan ini, para pelajar diberikan pemahaman tentang ancaman intoleransi, radikalisme, dan terorisme, serta pentingnya peran mereka dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat.
Kepala Sekolah SMP Negeri 13 Kupang, Yusak S. Olla, S Pd mengapresiasi upaya Ditbinmas Polda NTT dalam menyelenggarakan sosialisasi di sekolah mereka. “Kami merasa terhormat dan senang atas kehadiran anggota Ditbinmas Polda NTT di sekolah kami. Ini adalah langkah positif dalam membentuk pemahaman yang baik pada para siswa tentang isu-isu keamanan nasional,” ujarnya.
Iptu Danial Agripa Tefnai, SH mengedepankan interaksi dengan para pelajar. Sesuai semangat Polri dalam pendekatan humanis, para pelajar diajak untuk berdiskusi dan bertanya tentang isu-isu yang mereka temui sehari-hari. “Kami ingin menciptakan ruang yang nyaman bagi para pelajar untuk berbicara dan berpikir kritis tentang masalah yang ada di sekitar mereka,” tambahnya.
Sosialisasi ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Ditbinmas Polda NTT dalam mendukung program prioritas Polri terkait penanggulangan intoleransi, radikalisme, dan terorisme. Pemahaman yang baik pada generasi muda diharapkan dapat membantu mencegah penyebaran ideologi yang merugikan dan menjaga persatuan di tengah keragaman masyarakat Indonesia.
Dengan antusiasme yang tinggi, para pelajar menyambut kehadiran anggota Ditbinmas Polda NTT di sekolah mereka. “Kami merasa senang dan bangga bisa mendapatkan informasi langsung dari aparat kepolisian tentang bagaimana kita semua dapat berkontribusi dalam menjaga keamanan dan kedamaian di lingkungan kami,” ujarnya.
Sosialisasi di SMP Negeri 13 Kupang ini menjadi bukti nyata komitmen Ditbinmas Polda NTT dalam memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman kepada generasi muda.
