JEMBER, Bupati Jember Ir. H. Hendy Siswanto, ST. IPU. mengaku tidak main-main untuk memastikan hak warganya terpenuhi. Setelah kemarin menemukan banyak minyak goreng yang disimpan di gudang swalayan, kali ini Bupati Hendy mengumpulkan para kepala cabang dari masing-masing swalayan yang beroperasi di Jember.
“Jangan memainkan hak pelanggan, dengan cara yang kurang baik menahan dulu di gudang sehingga warga kami mengeluh sulitnya mendapatkan minyak goreng,” ungkap Bupati Hendy.
Bahkan ia mengancam akan mencabut izin operasi swalayan apabila terjadi lagi praktik demikian.
Dalam pertemuannya dengan para kepala cabang swalayan itu, Bupati Hendy menegaskan, untuk segera memperlancar distribusi kepada pelanggan.
Terlebih pemerintah memang sudah menjamin ketersediaan minyak goreng hingga 6 bulan ke depan.
