Kali ini dilaksanakan di Polsek Piyungan yaGuna penegakkan ketertiban dan kedisiplinan anggota Polri di jajaran Polda DIY, Bidpropam Polda DIY menggelar operasi Gaktibplin. Kali ini dilaksanakan di Polsek Piyungan yang dipimpin oleh Kaur Binplin Bidpropam Polda DIY, AKP Eka Andy SH, Selasa (17/10/2023) siang.
Dalam arahannya, AKP Eka Andy mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sengaja digelar secara mendadak guna melakukan pengecekan personel seperti kedisiplinan personel, kelengkapan dinas, kartu identitas diri maupun kebersihan senjata api bagi anggota pemegang senpi.
“Kita melakukan kegiatan ini bukan semata-mata untuk mencari kesalahan anggota di lapangan, namun kita mengontrol dan mengingatkan kepada seluruh jajaran agar disiplin dan tertib sebelum kita menertibkan masyarakat,” tuturnya.
Ia juga mengatakan, surat-surat identitas diri sebagai anggota Polri harus lengkap, seperti KTA, KTP, SIM dan surat-surat kendaraan bermotor.
Selain itu, ia menekankan agar anggota Polri harus bersikap netral dalam pemilu 2024 sesuai yang diatur dalam pasal 28 ayat 1 Undang Undang No. 2 Tahun 2002 yang menyatakan bahwa Polri harus bersikap netral dalam kehidupan politik dan tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan politik praktis.
