Untuk itu Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Dharmasraya menyelenggarakan kegiatan Rapat Evaluasi Pengawasan Tahapan Pencalonan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Serta Anggota DPD RI, DPR-RI, DPRD Provinsi dan DPRD Kabupaten kota pemilihan Umum Tahun 2024.
Kegiatan ini berfokus pada evaluasi pengawasan pencalonan dan memetakan potensi kerawanan Serta penyelesaian sengketa antar peserta Pemilu, kata Komisioner Bawaslu
Koordinator Divisi Hukum, Pencegahan, Parmas dan Humas Alde Rado, MA, C.Med, kepada media Indonesia Dalam Hitungan Menit (Indomen) disela selah acara rapat evaluasi tersebut, Sabtu (02/12/2023) di Gunung Medan kecamatan Sitiung.
Kegiatan tersebut melibatkan seluruh Ketua Partai Politik (Parpol), agar mereka semakin bisa memahami Tahapan-tahapan yang harus dijalani, termasuk dapat mengetahui dan mengikuti Aturan-aturan yang berlaku dalam Tahapan Pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024.Seperti Undang undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017 Tentang Pemilihan Umum
Serta PKPU No. 3 tahun 2022 tentang Tahapan dan Jadwal
Penyelenggaraan Pemilu dan PKPU No. 10 tahun 2023 tentang Pencalonan Anggota DPR, DPRD Provinsi, DPRD Kabupaten/Kota dan Peraturan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Perbawaslu) Nomor 8 Tahun 2023 Tentang Pengawasan Pencalonan Anggota DPR-RI DPD DPRD Provinsi dan DPRD Kabupaten kota, terang komisioner itu.
Lebih lanjut Alde Rado menjelaskan, secara teknis KPU melaksanakan tahapan pencalonan dan Bawaslu melakukan pengawasan, dalam pengawasan itu Bawaslu tetap memberi upaya upaya pencegahan agar pemilu
berjalan dengan baik dikemudian hari sesuai dengan regulasi yang ada
Untuk itu kata Alde, Bawaslu berharap kepada ketua ketua Partai Politik, Media, TNI dan Kepolisian agar dapat memberikan saran atau rekomendasi, apa apa saja perlu direkomendasikan agar semua tahapan pencalonan pemilihan Umum berikutnya lebih sempurna, kata Komisioner itu.
” Agar pemilu berikutnya berjalan lebih sempurna kami berharap kepada ketua-ketua Parpol, Media, TNI dan Kepolisian supaya dapat memberikan saran atau rekomendasi”, pintak Alde Rado.
