Jakarta – Bareskrim Polri menangkap tiga orang di kasus dugaan investasi bodong robot trading Viral Blast yang merugikan member hingga Rp 1,2 triliun. Polisi tengah memburu pemilik platform berinisial PW.
“Masih kita tracing,” ujar Kasubdit TPPU Dittipideksus Bareskrim Kombes Robertus Yohanes De Deo Tresna Eka Trimana dalam keterangannya, Rabu (23/2/2022).
Robertus mengungkapkan, PW memiliki peran yang sama dengan ketiga orang berinisial RPW, ZHP, dan MU yang sudah ditangkap. PW merupakan pemilik Viral Blast.
“Sama dengan yang 3 orang. Mereka berempat owner-nya PT TGK (Trust Global Karya) atau Viral Blast,” ucapnya.
Sebelumnya, Dirtipideksus Bareskrim Brigjen Whisnu Hermawan menjelaskan, total member Viral Blast mencapai 12 ribu orang. Whisnu menerangkan, platform tersebut ilegal lantaran tak punya izin OJK.
“Menjalankan investasi robot trading dengan nama Viral Blast di mana hasil kejahatannya dinikmati oleh pengurus dan afiliasinya,” kata Whisnu kepada wartawan, Selasa (22/2/2022).
Dari para tersangka, polisi menyita sejumlah barang bukti berupa uang senilai SGD 1.850.000, uang nilai Rp 12.000.000, kartu ATM sebanyak 12 buah, 4 unit mobil mewah, dan 8 buah handphone.
