Jakarta.- Direktorat Tindak Pidana Umum Bareskrim Polri melakukan pengungkapan kasus perdagangan orang jaringan Indonesia-Amman Jordania-Arab Saudi.
Direktur Tindak Pidana Umum Bareskrim Polri, Brigjen. Pol. Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro menerangkan, pengungkapan kasus ini berawal dari informasi Kedutaan Besar RI di Amman Jordania mengenai perdagangan orang bekerja di Arab Saudi, namun secara ilegal. Kemudian, dilakukan penyelidikan dan ditemukan dua jaringan pemberangkatan.
Ia menjelaskan, jaringan pertama dilakukan oleh tersangka MA (53), ZA (54), dan SR (53). Kemudian, jaringan pemberangkatan kedua dilakukan penangkapan kepada tersangka RR (38) dan AS (58).
“Para tersangka ini menggunakan modus menjanjikan 1.200 riyal per bulan kepada pekerja yang akan diberangkatkan ke Arab Saudi. Pemberangkatannya ini tidak sesuai prosedur dan visanya menggunakan visa wisata,” ujar Direktur dalam konferensi pers, Selasa (4/4/23).
Ditambahkannya, dalam pengakuan para tersangka, pemberangkatan pekerja ilegal ini sudah dilakukan sejak 2015 dengan keuntungan dari setiap yang diberangkatkan mencapai Rp6.000.000. Selama itu, jumlah pekerja yang telah diberangkatkan sekitar 1.000 orang.
Atas perbuatan para pelaku, penyidik menyangkakan Pasal 4 Undang-Undang RI No. 21 Tahun 2007 tentang pemberantasan tindak pidana perdagangan orang (PTPPO) dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara dan minimal 3 tahun penjara dan denda paling sedikit Rp120 juta paling banyak Rp600 juta; dan/atau Pasal 81 Undang-Undang RI No. 18 Tahun 2017 tentang pelindungan pekerja migran indonesia dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 10 tahun penjara dan denda paling banyak Rp15 M Jo Pasal 86 huruf (b) Undang-Undang RI No. 17 Tahun 2017 tentang pelindungan pekerja migran Indonesia dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama lima tahun dan pidana denda paling banyak Rp15 milyar.(Redaksiswanara)
