DEMAK – Dalam membantu menyukseskan program pemerintah menekan atau menurunkan angka stunting khususnya di kabupaten Demak, Kodim 0716/Demak bekerjasama dengan Dinpermades P2KB Pemkab Demak dan BKKBN menggelar pelayanan KB Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP), Implant dan IUD dalam rangka TNI Manunggal Bangga Kencana-Kesehatan Terpadu di Puskesmas Guntur 1 Demak, Kamis (22/09/2022).
Acara yang diikuti 30 akseptor untuk KB Implant, 2 akseptor IUD dan 2 orang periksa IVA ini bertujuan untuk mendukung pengendalian jumlah penduduk dan Program Bangga Kencana guna meningkatkan kesertaan ber-KB dalam Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP) di Kabupaten Demak. Selain itu juga untuk mengurangi angka stunting anak akibat kelahiran yang yang tak terkendali.
Batuud Koramil 10/Guntur Peltu Amin Wahyudi menyampaikan pelayanan program KB tersebut merupakan kerjasama antara Kodim 0716/Demak dengan Dinpermades P2KB Demak dan BKKBN dalam rangka menurunkan angka stunting di wilayah Kabupaten Demak, khususnya di Kecamatan Guntur.
Terpisah, Komandan Kodim Letkol Czi Pribadi Setya Pratomo menyampaikan, stunting merupakan ancaman utama terhadap kualitas manusia Indonesia, juga ancaman terhadap kemampuan daya saing bangsa.
Menurutnya, hal ini dikarenakan anak stunted, bukan hanya terganggu pertumbuhan fisiknya, bertubuh pendek atau kerdil saja, melainkan juga terganggu perkembangan otaknya, yang mana tentu akan sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan dan prestasi di sekolah, produktivitas dan kreativitas di usia-usia produktif.
Untuk menurunkan angka stunting di Indonesia, pemerintah mengintruksikan untuk menggelar program KB secara serentak di seluruh pelosok negeri. Hal ini dikarenakan, program KB menjadi kunci penting dalam menurunkan stunting nasional. Karena itu, Dinpermades P2KB Demak, BKKBN bekerja sama dengan Kodim 0716/Demak terus menggenjot program KB.
“Kita bantu Pemkab dalam penanganan stunting karena dengan kepedulian kita terhadap masalah stunting ini akan membawa anak-anak kita nanti tumbuh dan berkembang secara optimal dan maksimal,” imbuhnya.
Sementara, kerjasama antara Kodim 0716/Demak dengan Pemkab Demak sudah terjalin sejak lama. Wujud nyata dari kerjasama tersebut diantaranya adalah program TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) dan pelayanan KB Kesehatan yang dilaksanakan setiap tahun. (Pendim0716).
