Kaltim – Guna mencegah terorisme, radikalisme dan intoleransi di kalangan masyarakat, Polda Kaltim gencar melakukan sosialisasi di beberapa tempat di antaranya, dari Ditbinmas Polda Kaltim melakukan sosialisasi di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Subulus Salam Balikpapan, Polres Jajaran Polda Kaltim, dan sosialisasi di kawasan Sepinggan, pada Rabu (27/9/23).
“Sosialisasi Penanggulangan Terorisme/Radikalisme dan Intoleransi dengan melaksanakan pemasangan Spanduk dan Baliho di kawasan Bandara Sepinggan Balikpapan Selatan. Diharapkan masyarakat dan generasi muda yang membaca dapat terhindar dari paham Intoleransi, Radikalisme dan Terorisme tersebut,” jelasnya.
Kabid Humas Polda Kaltim juga menjelaskan, penyebab seseorang terkena paham intoleransi, radikalisme dan terorisme adalah kurangnya ilmu pengetahuan tentang pemahaman agama yang tidak sempurna, kemiskinan kesenjangan sosial, rasa putus asa, anti demokrasi, kurangnya edukasi, dan empati yang berlebihan akibat medsos di dalam dan luar negeri serta maraknya arus globalisasi.(Redaksiswanara)
