Rote Ndao – Sabtu pagi (2/9/2023) yang cerah menjadi saksi kedatangan Kapolda NTT, Irjen Pol. Drs. Johni Asadoma, ke Kabupaten Rote Ndao. Didampingi oleh Ketua Bhayangkari Daerah NTT, Ny. Vera Asadoma, kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk mempererat hubungan positif antara kepolisian dan masyarakat setempat.
Tiba di Pelabuhan Ba’a, Kelurahan Namodale, Kecamatan Lobalain, Kapolda NTT beserta rombongan menggunakan helikopter Polairud P-3303. Suasana meriah melanda pelabuhan ketika Kapolda dan rombongan disambut oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk Bupati Rote Ndao, Wakil Bupati, Kapolres Rote Ndao, Dandim 1627 Rote Ndao, serta perwakilan lembaga dan instansi lainnya.
Proses penyambutan Kapolda dan Ketua Bhayangkari Daerah NTT dihiasi dengan khidmatnya tradisi lokal, termasuk sapaan adat, pengalungan kain adat, dan tarian penyambutan yang memikat hati.
Setelah serangkaian acara penyambutan yang hangat, Kapolda NTT dan rombongan melanjutkan perjalanan menuju Rumah Jabatan Kapolres Rote Ndao dengan pengawalan dari Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Rote Ndao.
Kunjungan ini tidak hanya merupakan agenda formal, tetapi juga memiliki arti yang mendalam dalam upaya mempererat kerja sama antara kepolisian dan masyarakat Rote Ndao. Dengan kolaborasi yang erat, diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan harmonis bagi seluruh warga.(Redaksiswanara)
