Sementara itu, Bupati Bantul Abdul Halim Muslih dalam sambutannya mengatakan, TMMD ini merupakan jawaban dari Pemda Bantul, Pemdes Selopamioro dan TNI atas aspirasi masyarakat Dusun Kedungjati.
“Agar jalan yang dibangun ini dipergunakan sebaik mungkin terutama untuk meningkatkan perekonomian warga khususnya warga Dusun Kedungjati,” katanya.
Bupati juga mengucapkan terimakasih atas semua pihak yang terlibat atas usaha dan upayanya untuk mensukseskan program TMMD.
“Serta mengucapkan selamat kepada warga atas kepemilikan akses infrastruktur yang baru,” tandasnya.
Usai upacara penutupan, acara dilanjutkan dengan peresmian hasil kegiatan TMMD Sengkuyung Tahap I TA 2023 ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti dan pemotongan pita oleh Bupati Bantul diikuti oleh tamu undangan.
