Surabaya – Polrestabes Surabaya berhasil mangamankan empat pelaku penganiayaan dan intimidasi terhadap lima jurnalis yang meliput penindakan diskotik Ibiza Club di Jalan Simpang Dukuh, Surabaya pada Jumat (20/1/23) lalu. Kini, keempat pelaku sedang menjalani pemeriksaan secara intensif.
“Setelah ditangkap, keempat pelaku tersebut langsung diperiksa oleh penyidik Sat Reskrim Polrestabes Surabaya. Pertama, kami mengamankan dua pelaku, yaitu MH (55) dan S (55). Kemudian Rabu (25/1/23), kemarin sore, dua pelaku yakni SD (45) dan EYK (42) menyerahkan diri,” jelas Kapolrestabes Surabaya, Kombes. Pol. Akhmad Yusep Gunawan, S.H., S.I.K., di Surabaya, Kamis (26/1/23).
Kapolres mengimbau kepada masyarakat agar siapapun yang merasa melakukan tindakan kekerasan dalam kasus tersebut segera menyerahkan diri. Kapolres juga meminta agar atas kesadaran diri datang ke Polrestabes Surabaya. Hal ini dilakukan agar masyarakat tidak terganggu.
“Kita sebagai masyarakat yang taat hukum harus berani mengakui perbuatan secara jujur demi menjaga situasi kamtibmas di Surabaya. Sesuai perkap nomor 1 tahun 2009, bila pihak terkait tidak menyerahkan diri, maka kami lakukan tindakan tegas terukur” jelasnya lebih lanjut.
Kapolres mengungkapkan, semua pihak lebih bijak dalam menghadapi setiap permasalahan dan mengedepankan win-win solution. Jika memang sudah pada tahap penyidikan bisa memanfaatkan ruang restorative justice (RJ).
“Penyidik bersifat fasilitator dan menghadirkan ahli akademisi untuk mengukur pencapaian RJ yang berkeadilan. Dengan begitu tidak ada yang dirugikan maupun diuntungkan sebagai wujud kepastian hukum serta tidak mengganggu jalannya proses penyidikan secara profesional, berkeadilan dan keterbukaan,” katanya.(Redaksiswanara)
