Jakarta – Polri resmi menahan istri Ferdy Sambo, Putri Chandrawati (PC) dalam kasus dugaan pembunuhan berencana terhadap Brigadir J.
Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menyampaikan, penahanan terhadap Putri Candrawathi dilakukan setelah kondisi jasmani dan psikologi kesehatannya dinyatakan sehat dan baik.
Wakil Ketua Komisi III Ahmad Sahroni mengapresiasi langkah Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo tersebut. Menurutnya, langkah itu sangat tepat. Demi tegakkan keadilan, PC memang harus ditahan.
“Keputusan Kapolri sudah sangat tepat. Apalagi demi keadilan, PC memang harus ditahan,” kata Sahroni, Jumat 30 September 2022.
Sahroni menyampaikan, akan terjadi hal-hal yang menghambat proses hukum bila PC tidak ditahan. Oleh karena itu, penahanan PC sudah pasti sesuai dengan pertimbangan.
“Kan kita ingin kasus ini cepat selesai dengan adil, maka hal-hal prosedural harus dipatuhi,” imbuhnya.
Seperti diketahui, PC resmi ditahan Polri dalam kasus pembunuhan berencana Brigadir Yosua Hutabarat. Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo menjamin sel tahanan Putri sama dengan tahanan lain.
“Untuk standar penahanan rutan yang diberikan kepada saudari PC saya kira sama dengan yang lain, nanti ditentukan apakah di Bareskrim atau di rutan Brimob. Namun, saya kira standarnya tetap sama,” kata Sigit dalam konferensi pers di Mabes Polri, Jakarta Selatan, Jumat 30 September 2022.
Kapolri menyampaikan, setelah berkas perkara lengkap, PC dan empat tersangka lain akan diserahkan ke Kejaksaan Agung untuk proses penuntutan di persidangan. Dia menyebut lokasi penahanan PC dan tersangka lain akan ditentukan oleh jaksa usai pelimpahan.
Sigit pun berharap penahanan PC bisa menjawab kekhawatiran masyarakat terkait proses hukum kasus kematian Brigadir J.
Kapolri mengaku, pihaknya akan terus melanjutkan pengusutan kasus ini hingga tuntas.
“Tentunya ini bagian dari komitmen kami untuk bersungguh-sungguh menuntaskan penanganan kasus ini sebagai komitmen bahwa Polri melakukan ini secara tegas tanpa pandang bulu, untuk memperbaiki kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap Polri,” kata Sigit.(Redaksi Swanara)
